The Swat College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SCPS) is the leading institution for pharmaceutical education in Swat Valley and the first private-sector college in the Malakand Division to offer a 5-year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) program. Established in 2022, the college operates on a purpose-built campus equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, modern teaching facilities, and dedicated student spaces. Located on the GT Road in Gogdara—about 9 kilometers from Barikot, heading toward Mingora City—SCPS is now preparing to welcome its fourth batch of Pharm.D students. At the Swat College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SCPS), we are committed to excellence in pharmacy education, research, and healthcare services. Our goal is to bridge the gap in pharmaceutical education by making it accessible even to students from underprivileged backgrounds, for whom higher education once seemed an impossible dream. Pharmacy is a cornerstone of healthcare in developed nations, playing a vital role in patient care, policymaking, and drug regulation. Today's pharmacists are not just confined to retail or hospitals; they are also shaping the future of medicine through roles in drug testing laboratories (DTL), regulatory affairs (DRAP), drug inspection, and clinical research. With advancements in education and technology, the profession has expanded, empowering pharmacists to ensure safe medication distribution and contribute to groundbreaking medical studies.
